Basic information about Aggression

Aggression:
  • is any action that is intended to injure, harm, or inflict pain on another living being or group of beings, either human and animal
  • is the result of the inadequate diffusion of frustration by an individual
  • It can take on any forms, it could be from physical confrontations to verbal hostility.
  • two types of aggression: hostile aggression and instrumental aggression
  • Hostile aggression cause by anger and it will go to injury.
  • Instrumental aggression is going to injure as well but it’s used as a means of securing some reward or to achieve an external goal such as a victory.
  • aggression behaviour is learned
  • is a natural response to frastruction
  • No age group is exempt for aggression.
Bullying:
  • Bullying is a type of harassment, is considered a criminal act.

  • Bullying is about power and aggression but it is also about relationships.

Virtual Aggression:
  • cyberbullying is the category of bullying
  • has become an increasingly challenging issue as technology develops
  • may take the form of a victim using interactive technological devices
  • Online virtual aggression can lead to criminal consequences.
